Of the many cool things to do here on The Salt Lake City Egotist, becoming a member is potentially the most important. We're here to help make the creative in this city even better than it already is - and that means we're here to help you.

Building a member profile is free. It's easy to do. It's free. It lets you see local job postings three days before anyone else. It's free. And it's a great way to promote yourself to all the agencies, staffing firms, creative directors and companies that read us on a daily basis. Oh, and it's free.

The user name you choose when initially setting up will appear as a headline at the top of your profile page. The 'name' you enter after the initial user name and password setup will be used to list you on the talent page along with everyone else. So be conscious of that too – and realize that's something you actually have the ability to change yourself if you like.

If you don't have a website, please put your email address or phone number in your description so people can actually get a hold of you if they want to.

So pick out a few jpegs of your best work. Take 5 minutes and fill out your profile. And hey, tell your friends while you're at it. It's all about the creative karma.

We have been watching Denver for awhile. Thanks for bringing the Egotist here.

The masthead here kinda sucks. http://www.thestlouisegotist.com/ and http://www.thesfegotist.com/ both have better headers, but I suppose SL is better than http://www.thedesmoinesegotist.com/

Feel free to design us a new masthead and submit it. We will be sure to post!

This is going to be great. The Denver Egotist has been a regular haunt and I've been wishing for SLC to get one. Dreams come true.
