Alex Bogusky made a pretty vocal exit from the ad business. He moved on to other projects outside of the ad world. But he didn't stay gone long. He's back running a campaign for Al Gore. Check it out.

Netflix decided to double the price of its subscriptions this week, and people are seven kinds of pissed off about it. Twitter, Facebook, blogs, and the mainstream media have been having a field day with the news. And Netflix is feeling the backlash big time. But is it really that big a deal? Here's our solution, cancel the DVD by mail service and only go for the streaming service. If you want a DVD and it's not available to stream, go to Redbox and get it. There, problem solved. Are we over simplifying here?

Funny side note, HBO has a streaming service and it decided to promote a tweet in the Netflix hashtag. We thought that was funny, in a tactless kind of way.
